Lets Get Started

I am finally going to ARTICHOKE!
A colleague of mine is celebrating her birthday this weekend and to commemorate a few of us will be going to Artichoke for pizza Friday after work. I have not had the pleasure of Artichoke before but I hear this place has the best pizza in NYC. Being a big fan of pizza and living in Brooklyn, I find this hard to believe.
I of course, will report back and will try to take some pictures for you kids.

Hello Everyone!

Most of you probably already know me but... A little bit of what’s going on right now in my life and why I started this blog.

  • First and foremost, I just started my first year of law school at New York Law. I am going to school at night while still working at my day job. (Crazy I know, more about that later)
  • Ted, my boyfriend, and I are still living in Brooklyn; we have been there for a little over a year now.
  • Ted is a chef (hence the blog name) and after many many years of working 16 hours/nights/weekends/holidays/birthday he is now working for a corporate bank managing their dinning rooms and catering.

Why I started this Blog/Mission Statement:

This is a very passionate time in my life! Just a few days ago I was speaking to my best friend (Hi Big Al!), we were discussing our lives (she just started an intensive Grad program) and how much they are changing. I am scared that I am losing friends and fun in my life. Hence, the purpose of this blog is foremost for me to get my thoughts/activities written down somewhere and second, hopefully for friends/ family/colleagues to learn a little bit while I do. Finally, I will be blogging about life, law, and food. Enjoy! Cheers!
